Carl Sisk

Chief Reservoir Engineer
 



Carl Sisk is an expert in numeric simulation of oil and gas reservoirs from the formation to the sales line. He has worked as both a production and reservoir engineer onshore and offshore on projects ranging from exploration discovery wells to CO2 IOR projects on a wide variety of formations. He started in the oil industry with Amoco Production Company in 1978 after obtaining a BS EE degree from the Missouri School of Mines. Carl worked in Egypt for GUPCO three years and spent four years in Stavanger Norway working for first, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate and then Amoco Norway. Carl has also worked in the research group of Amoco and then BP for 7 years until he went back to reservoir engineering on the Wamsutter field tight gas field. He held a variety of engineering management positions within Amoco and BP. He retired from BP in April of 2009 after 32 years of combined service with Amoco/BP. He joined Ingrain in June of 2009 and is heavily involved in the upscaling aspects of digital rock physics as well as being on the management team.  Carl is an active member of SPE involved in Forum Series committees, technical presentations and papers.
