AAPG Annual Convention & Exhibition
The AAPG Annual Convention & Exhibition (ACE) is a science-driven event organized by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists — the world’s largest professional geological organization — along with SEPM (Society for Sedimentary Geology) and host Houston Geological Society.
The AAPG 2011 Annual Convention & Exhibition in Houston, 10-13 April 2011. The city’s far-reaching petroleum E&P industry, coupled with the convenient downtown location of the George R. Brown Convention Center, means your sales could grow by leaps and bounds.
Since its founding in 1917, the American Association of Petroleum Geologists has been a pillar of the worldwide scientific community. The original purpose of AAPG, to foster scientific research, to advance the science of geology, to promote technology, and to inspire high professional conduct, still guides the Association today.
Currently the world's largest professional geological society with more than 31,000 members, AAPG provides publications, conferences, and educational opportunities to geoscientists and disseminates the most current geological information available to the general public.
AAPG supports a code of ethics for professional geologists to assure employers and clients of the integrity of its members. The Association is guided by officers and a House of Delegates elected annually. The organization's programs are administered by an Executive Director and staff located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
