2011 DUG Eagle Ford Conference & Exhibition Oct 10-12

As the Eagle Ford shale play in South Texas marks its third anniversary, activity is booming. Recently, its rig count reached 176, and is now the second most-active play in the U.S. outside of the Permian Wolfberry (187 rigs). Operators of all sizes, from Asian national oil companies to private-equity-backed start-ups, are flocking to this versatile area, and no wonder: they can drill for natural gas, condensate, natural gas liquids and oil targets. Daily production is about 72,000 barrels of oil and close to 1.5 Bcf of dry gas and the natural gas liquids are a precious bonus.
