Ingrain's Elizabeth Diaz presenting technical paper next month at the AAPG 2010 Annual Convention and Exhibition
Houston (March 2010) -- Ingrain's Elizabeth Diaz is scheduled to
present a paper at the AAPG 2010 Annual Convention and Exhibition (ACE)
in New Orleans. ACE is an international gathering of geosciences
professionals sharing
insights and solutions to the most pressing issues facing the petroleum
exploration and production industry. The paper, Multi-Scale Imaging Process for Computations of Porosity and Permeability on Carbonate Rocks, was
co-authored with Dr. Avrami Grader, Dr. Amos Nur, Chuck Baldwin, and
Gouping Li, Ingrain and will be presented on April 14 at 10:30 AM
during the Evolving Technology Session (Theme 1).
The convention will be
held in New Orleans from Sunday, April 11 and go through Wednesday, April 14, 2010. For more information, please click here to visit the AAPG ACE website.
Houston (March 08, 2010) -- Ingrain will be sponsoring the SPWLA -
Oman March Technical Seminar being held later this month. The seminar,
From Pore to Core: Multi-Scale Digital Rock Physics, will be
presented by Ingrain's Regional Manager to the Middle East and
North Africa, Gary Sinclair, and will discuss how digital rock physics
has emerged as a valuable tool for providing deeper understanding of
rock properties in challenging reservoirs in a very rapid time frame.
The presentation will include examples of the technology as applied on
actual Middle East Reservoir.
The seminar, taking place on Tuesday, March 30
from 5:30pm - 9pm at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Muscat, Oman, will
include a dinner and is open to both members of nonmembers of the SPWLA.
