03/12/12 Ingrain selected by IHS CERA as one of CERAWeek 2012 Energy Innovation Pioneers
March 12, 2012 - Ingrain is proud to annouce they were selected to be a part of CERAWeek's Energy Innovation Pioneers Class of 2012.
IHS Media Relations: The founders and chief executives of the selected companies presented their companies' technology and vision in breakfast meetings at the seventh annual Energy Innovation Pioneers Program as part of CERAWeek 2012, March 5-9, at the Hilton Americas – Houston.
The Energy Innovation Pioneers Program, sponsored by Chevron, featured presentations and informal discussions from some of the most innovative and distinctive new technologies in the energy spectrum, including upstream oil and gas, downstream and processing, biofuels, propulsion technologies, water treatment, new materials, monitoring and assessment, renewables,clean coal, electric storage and efficiency.
The 25 innovators were selected by IHS CERA based on their creativity, feasibility of plan, scalability of technology and leadership team. According to Rosenfield: “This year’s selection process was the most competitive yet. Twenty five companies were chosen from a field of over 150. These firms represent some of the best of the great wave of innovation that is transforming the energy future.
"Everyone in the sprawling energy-research enterprise is part of a very large experiment, an experiment that is not something just for the future. It has already begun,” added HIS CERA Chairman Daniel Yergin.

CEO Marcus Ganz was invited to represent Ingrain at the program where he spoke about the growing demand for digital rock physics technology, as well as Ingrain's position as a pioneer in the field of shale analysis.
