Oct 2013: AAPG Memoir 102 released, features Ingrain work throughout
The latest memoir published by the AAPG was released for publication this month. The memoir, entitled Electron Microscopy of Shale Hydrocarbon Reservoirs, was edited by Edited by Wayne Camp (Anadarko), Barry Wawak (Core Labs) and Elizabeth Diaz (Ingrain) and features chapters written by Ingrain's Tim Cavanaugh, Joel Walls, Boaz Nur and Juliana Anderson.
The purpose of the memoir is to provide a practical reference for geologists, geophysicists, engineers, and students to gain a better understanding of the various state-of-the-art techniques and applications of electron microscopy for shale hydrocarbon reservoir evaluation.
This reference volume is intended for both specialists and non-specialists alike and will serve as a practical guide for petrographic interpretation and reservoir analog studies.
There is also an image catalog section where Ingrain submitted multiple images from all different North American shale plays and an additional interactive DVD that contains multiple 3D cubes acquire at Ingrain. Ingrain's 2D SEM images are even featured on the cover.
